## Written prayer

Dearest Lord, It must have been draining to be the only light in the world. Everyone around you had no idea of the true nature of God and what it meant to live in the kingdom of heaven. You taught the truth of God’s word with authority. All they had to do was watch what you did to see the scripture come to life through you. You prayed for the sick, raised the dead, multiplied wine, food, and meet the needs of all those that came to you. All they had to do was touch the hem of your garment and they were healed. That is who the father is – he is ready to meet the needs of the vulnerable and disenfranchised. When the father brought his boy to Jesus it was because the disciples could not meet his needs. Jesus saw how faithless and perverse the world was even in his own disciples. How long is it going to take until you see the truth? How long must I show you what to do? I think Jesus knew his time was running out before his mission would be completed and he needed his disciples to be stronger in their faith and authority over the devil. Strengthen thou my unbelief Lord and give me revelation on the truth of the power of your word. Jesus left his power in the lives of his disciples and said greater things will you do because I go to the father. In Jesus name, amen.
