## Written prayer

Heavenly father, it is your mercies that I long to sing about. Your mercies are new every morning and each day is a new day to learn and grow in your love and grace. I get so excited when you touch my life with your goodness that I have to share your faithfulness with all those around me. To know the God of the universe has adopted me to be part of his family make me a child of the king of kings! How awesome is that? How can I not reach out to tell others of this wonderful, awesome good news? When I stay focused on your goodness, the world, with its stress and turmoil, can’t touch me. When I confess the truth of your word and all your beautiful promises I’m insulated in your love and peace. When I hold fast to your word and speak it into existence I have the honor of watching, as you are faithful to perform it. You spoke the universe into existence through the power of your word. There is more creative power in your spoken word than I ever imagined. As I declare your faithfulness and your mercies I change the atmosphere around me. I adore you and love you with all my heart. In Jesus name, amen.
