## Written prayer

Dear Lord, never let me forget your healing touch and how you broke my chains of bondage to sin. Just like you heard the cries of your people in Egypt and brought them out of the house of bondage, you heard my cries for help when I was deep in sin. I had no idea what freedom was until you set me free and brought me into your kingdom of love. If I had not experienced the bondage of sin and the torment of the taskmaster I would not have the same appreciation for your tender mercy. I will never take your love and deliverance for granted. I know what Egypt has to offer and I will never return to the labor camps of sin. Once I tasted of your goodness I was cured forever. Only you could set me free. Only you knew how to bring deliverance when I was deep in the pit of despair. You are the most merciful and powerful God of salvation who will never fail me. Keep me in your fortress of love and shield me from the enemies that try to seduce me and take me captive. You Lord are my strong tower and I will praise you all the days of my life, in Jesus name, Amen.
