Dear Lord, you know our hearts better than we ever could. You see how easily our desires pull us toward things that may sparkle for a moment but leave us empty. Like Samson, we are often led by what we see and feel, forgetting the deeper call to holiness. Teach us to guard our hearts with wisdom and vigilance. Give us strength to resist temptation and clarity to recognize what draws us away from you. Fill our desires with what is pure, good, and honoring to your name. Help us long for you above all, knowing true fulfillment is found only in your presence. Shape our hearts to follow Jesus—steady, faithful, and committed to your will. Root us in your love so that everything we do flows from a heart centered on you. Amen.
