## Written prayer

Father, your tenderness for the little children touches my heart with sweetness.  You call us your children and want us to know you as our abba, which is hebrew for daddy. What a wonderful word of intimacy. You are the most powerful ruler in the galaxy yet you love your children with a tenderness that reflects your loving heart toward your creation. It is such an honor to be one of your children. As adults we have been corrupted by this world’s system and have encountered situations that have left their sin stained scars across our hearts. When you call me out of darkness and claim me as your own I become like a little child. As my heavenly father you love me unconditionally and teach me how to live in the liberty and freedom you purchased for me. You are restoring me to the noble and much loved child you intended me to be before sin corrupted me. You discipline me out of your love and correct me so I can learn how to walk upright as your child. The more I yield to your correction and understand your loving nature the more I learn to trust you. As children are totally dependant on the benevolence of their parents I am dependant on my heavenly father. My desire is to please you and make you proud of me. In Jesus name, amen.
