## Written prayer

It takes time to learn to understand your word. Thank you for your patience with me, Lord. Paul stayed a year and a half in Corinth educating the new converts how to follow you. Thank you, for the fellowship of believers, pastors, and mature mentors that teach me how to read your word and apply it to my life. They correct me in love, and pray for me to continue growing. They help me understand how to keep shedding my corrupt old sin nature. Thank you, for the grace that covers me as I learn to walk with you. I wanted everything yesterday, but character takes time to develop. Keep me patient ,Lord, as you heal me. Amen.
