## Written prayer

Lord, Thank you that I am not alone when I fall short of your standards for living. As hard as I try, I still miss the mark daily. I speak words in hast, make snap judgements about people, and have a hard time ruling over my emotions. Father, I thank you that when you look at me you don’t see my failings but the blood of your son covering me. It is his righteousness that allows me to enter your presence. In your presence I find forgiveness for my sins because your mercy is new every morning. Lord, strengthen me with your wisdom that I might continue to grow more pleasing to you in all I do. Amen.
