## Written prayer

Heavenly Father, I love walking along the beach and talking with you in the midst of your creation. I can’t help but magnify you as I admire the beauty of your handiwork all around me. My heart becomes so full of joy and thanksgiving I just break into a spontaneous song. Your word says we are to sing a new song unto the Lord, and I love to put my praise into melody as I worship you. Sometimes words are not enough to express my love and appreciation for all your goodness and blessings in my life. Even when times are difficult I praise you and sing songs of adoration to you and my spirit begins to soar into your presence and I feel your peace. I used to be afraid to sing because I don’t have the greatest voice, but I believe that by the time my songs reach your throne they are transformed into tender melodies of love. You know the intent of my heart and the sincerity of my spirit is what you hear in my songs. That is what blesses you and puts a smile on your face. I long to make you smile Lord. I will magnify you with all my heart. In Jesus name, amen.
