## Written prayer

Dear Lord, it seems there aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done. I sure could use Sundays to sleep in and get myself caught up. BUT, your word says to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. When I put you first and remember to join with other believers to worship and rest in your peace I feel refreshed. When I honor your day and keep it Holy I am more productive during the week and it seems you give me grace to fly through my to do list. Putting your principles into practice and lining up with your word has astonishing effects on my mental health. Spending time with you in prayer and worship is never wasted time. Why are you the first thing that gets cut out when my schedule gets crowded with activity? Help me remember the busier I am the more I need you and when I carve out time to focus on you I find you do more for me than I can do for myself. It is an honor and privilege to join with your family of believers, for where two or more are gathered in your name you are always in our midst. Your presence is refreshing living water that washes over me and cleanses the stress of the world. You are holy and it is my joy to honor you on your Sabbath day, in Jesus name, Amen.
